Tonya is a lifesaver! Since meeting her in 2018, she has been my Personal Financial Counselor. I first met Tonya while I was in the military. I did not know anything about investing, budgeting, and saving for retirement. As a spiritual person, I would consider Tonya a blessing sent from God. She taught me the basics and introduced me to the complex aspects of finances. My family would not be where we are financially without the guidance, mentorship, and ‘tough love’ from Tonya. She gives you the truth on the things that we are in denial of, do not want address, and/or are afraid to talk about. Do not worry – she is not shy and is not afraid of being in an uncomfortable conversation. This is why me, my wife, and my daughter rely on Tonya. To put it in perspective, I introduced my wife to Tonya the same year I started meeting with her. During their first meeting, Tonya brought my wife to tears – telling her what she NEEDED to know and did not ‘sugar-coat’ the conversation. To this day, my wife testifies to everyone how Tonya “made her cry”. However, she benefited so much from that one encounter that she has been in contact with Tonya ever since (5 years and counting). Additionally, I trusted Tonya so much, I utilized her regularly to educate and mentor the United States Military men and women under my supervision while stationed at Dannelly Field Air National Guard Base in Montgomery, Alabama. As a young 18-year-old Airman, Tonya was able to break down the world of finances in a sense where their generation could understand the concept. I mention this to attest to the fact that Tonya can reach any age group, culture, generation, perspective, etc. As an active-duty military member, we received Tonya’s education at no cost. Now that I am retired, and she is no longer employed by the federal government – I will pay to keep her services and education because I know (and have experienced) my investment in her services will yield me much more in return!

Tonya is so patient. She worked with my daughter helping her with basic money management and understanding how to pay for college. It was great to have someone else on our family’s team to guide her through the process. My daughter (Holly) now tells everyone about Ms. T and how she taught her how to make her money work for her.
